As a freelance site engineer, i'm very familiar with tripods, using them day in day out. As build quality and price are paramount when selecting a tripod I took care in finding an elevating tripod that was suitably priced.

Bought to be used with an automatic level, i've levelled the instrument, raised the tripod to the correct and then fine adjusted the level to set the instrument to the desired height. Spinning the level 360 remained perfectly levelled throughout.
