Product overview:

Fukuda Lasers have a new addition to their range, the EK-112R Cross Line Laser.

It self levels quickly & accurately; giving a fine, red laser cross - ideal for both horizontal & vertical setting-out. Both beams can be switched On & Off independently.

A transit latch protects the mechanism (to avoid transportation damage) and the case is surrounded by a black rubber cover for worksite protection.

The EK-112R comes with a very handy Multi-function Magnetic "L" bracket. It acts as an All-in One: Wall hanging bracket & 5/8" tripod Adapter.

So the User has the choice of mounting the laser on tripods or Floor to Ceiling Poles with either 1/4" or 5/8" threads. (Please see our Accessories section.)

All in all, its a very versatile Laser Cross kit, primarily for the Interior Trades.

Beam diagram:

The EK-112R laser level is a dual output, self levelling instrument which generates bright visible red Laser Lines in the form of a Cross.

Both laser beams can be switched ON or Off either independently, or used together.

A simple 3 second press of the power button (transit latch locked) puts the laser into MANUAL mode ie. to set inclines etc.

No bubble levels are needed as it aligns via a totally automatic, damped gravity system.

A transit latch mounted in the base can be used to physically lock the mechanism (when not in use) & this isolates the power too.

If the instrument detects any inaccuracy, it alarms by flashing the laser beams On & Off, once every second. So no false levels are given.

Calibration and servicing:

We check and calibrate all Lasers prior to dispatch, to ensure they meet or exceed the manufacturers published specifications at the time of shipment from the factory.
If you routinely work on large job sites, which require you to have a physical Calibration certificate, issued in your name and matched to the Laser via its serial number, you must ensure you tick the above box marked "Paper Certificate" (where applicable) to add a Calibration certificate to your order. The Certificate will then be generated and included with your Laser. Please note the issuing of a Calibration certificate DOES NOT delay or hold up the despatch of your Laser in any way.

Hi. Is there a bracket to attach the fukuda ek_112r cross line laser to a floor to ceiling extension pole that's easily adjusted. Thanks

  • Posted by Laser Levels Online - Support on Thursday 11th of July 2019

    Hi Eamonn,

    Thank you for your message.

A floor to ceiling extension pole typically has some form of "L" shaped bracket clamped to it as standard to allow you to mount a laser from it.

If for some reason you only have the pole then a Stanley Mounting Bracket like this:

    would be perfect for you.

IF you do purchase this product the 1/4" adapter (used to mount the laser) is in the base of the "L" shaped bracket and is sometimes tricky to spot.

    Hope this helps.

Hello - I am looking for a product like this ... but instead of working on horizontal plane I want to work on a grade of about 7 degrees. I read in the 'features' that it will flash on/off if an error is detected (such as working on a grade) - can you recommend an appropriate product for me? Thanks

    Hello Michael

Yes I understand what you need & both the EK-112R & LP103 cross-line lasers are NOT suitable.

My recommendation is the model FDG-232R.

    Please see:

The side transit switch has a middle position for MANUAL usage, where the laser beams (& dots) stay ON

when the laser is inclined to set manual grades. It also has a normal AUTO (self-level) position too.

The base thread is 1/4" to suit various accessories.

    Best regards

how do u set the height off the horizontal line

  • Posted by Laser Levels Online - Support on Tuesday 10th of July 2018

    Hi Eugene,

    Thank you for your message.

    There are two methods:

You either position the laser on a tripod or similar and measure up or down from that datum to set your base level, deck level ground level etc... or you use something like a floor to ceiling pillar kit that will allow you to mount the laser at the exact height you are working.

Examples of floor to ceiling pillar kits can be seen here:

As the laser is self levelling it is not possible to esentuially tilt the laser backwards and have the laser track horizontally up the wall. This is something we get frequently asked about but is not possible with any laser.

If you have any further questions or require any additional assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
    Best regards
