Hello, I have an Stabila LAPR100 but my receiver is broken do you have a replacement receiver that would work with my Stabila

  • Posted by Laser Levels Online - Support on Monday 23rd of September 2019

    Hi Patrick,

We have had a lot of issues over the years where the detector "should" work based on the spec but the laser fails to trigger the detector and this seems to only be the case with Stabila lasers and non-standard detectors.

My recommendation would be to only purchase a Stabila detector to ensure compatibility but sadly this is not something we sell.

    Best regards

Hi, Can this be used with the Bosch GLL380PBM1 self levelling laser?

  • Posted by Laser Levels Online - Support on Thursday 14th of June 2018

    Hi Donna,

Unfortunately your Bosch GLL380PBM1 is a 360 degree Cross Line laser and not a Rotary Laser Level.

Rotary laser level detectors work by the dot skimming across the face of the laser detector at around 600RPM. As such you can match any make and model of rotary laser level with laser detector (as long as you ensure they are both red beam or both green beam etc...)
Cross line lasers (like your Bosch GLL380PBM1) have a "pulsed output" mode which effectively strobes the laser beam. This strobing is far faster than the eye can see but can be picked up by a proprietary cross line detector which is designed to work at the correct pulse rate for the laser. As such you have to have the exact laser detector for the exact cross line laser.
As such, the Spectra HR320 Detector you mentioned is a rotary detector and so will definitely not work with your laser. Nor, will any other cross line detectors we carry.
I am sorry that this is perhaps not the new you wanted to hear :(

Does this receiver read in mm or is the usual arrow pointing down and up thanks

  • Posted by Laser Levels Online - Support on Tuesday 21st of February 2017

    Hi Paul,

    Thank you for your message.

The HR320 is what's called a "core function" detector and so it simply has the usual up and down arrows, a front and rear display and an audible tone.

    The Spectra HL450 seen here:

has all the features of the HR320 but also has a larger pickup window and the mm or inch scale to show the drop e.g. 10mm - 8mm - 5mm - 3mm - 2mm - 1mm - level etc...

It also has and anti-strobe sensor stops construction strobe lights from setting off the detector and eliminates phantom strikes for easier identification of true laser beam signals.

If you have any further questions or require any additional assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
    Best regards

I have a LL200 but the detector has given up. Can you confirm if a new detector will work with it. For example the HR320?

  • Posted by Laser Levels Online - Support on Monday 24th of August 2015

    Hi Joe,

Yes, the HR320 should be an ideal match.

The HR320 will work with all visible red beam rotary lasers which spin at around 600RPM.

If you have any further questions or require any additional assistance please do not hesitate to contact us.
