Product overview:
If you are looking for a very accurate, intensely bright Multi-line laser with all round 360 degree coverage; then the Fukuda FLE-444GD is the one to choose. Its a green beam laser, packed with useful features.
A servo motor type control system gives an impressive line accuracy of +/-1.5mm @ 10m, where normal cross line lasers have accuracies in the range 2-3mm @ 10m.
Also, the provision of four horizontal lines gives a full 360 degree room coverage and four vertical beams (set a 90 deg to each other) enables the User to set both floor & ceiling squaring & alignment. Additionally a red down dot, gives electronic plumb facility matched to the green ceiling cross. All laser beams are auto (self) levelling & can be operated individually.
The FLE-444GD can be placed on any generally level (within 4 degrees), firm surface or mounted on our many laser accessories via its base 5/8" thread. The servo systems locks & protects the laser when moved around or transported.
Normal visible range (indoors) is 25m but this can be increased up to 80m when using the "outdoor" pulsed output facility and the included FD-9G line detector.
There is the option to remove the detector from the kit, if required.
If you want an accurate, versatile and very bright Multi-line laser level with a powerful power pack, this is the one for you.

Question:
Hi I Have a FLE-444GD serial no. F4/593868 which i brought from you, as i was interested in the accuracy, a lot of teh glass lenses have fallen out which is really disappointing, also I have checked against another FLE-444RD and it runs out appox 6mm 2.5m. MY question is is it worth re calibrating and replacing the lenses on this unit ? Also I need a battery for my FLE-444RD as this charging point is temperamental. Id by looking at a new laser if the FLE-444GD isn't serviceable economically, I like accurate cross line lasers but would want a different make to Fukuda as i'm not very impressed i'm afraid. Thanks Chay. Bespoke Architectural Engineering Ltd.

Hi Chay,
Thank you for your message.
I am sorry you are having an issue with your FLE-444GD.
We are suprised to hear that the glass windows are falling out. In fact I would go as far as to say we have never had a single report of glass windows falling out. Combined with the fact the laser is showing an accuracy of 6mm @ 2.5m when it should be 1.5mm @ 10m it may indicate that the laser has received a bang or knock disturbing the glass and putting it out of level.
We would need to see it back. Please visit:
https://www.laser-level.co.uk/servicing-repairs.html
and submit and RMA request.
Service will then be able to advise fully but speares are available.
In terms of brand choice... unfortunately the Fukuda FLE-444 series is the most accurate as they use stepper motors, where as other brands and models just use a pendulum system. As such the accuracy of those lasers will be 2 or 3mm @ 10m instead of 1.5mm.
Best regards
Mark Roberts
