The different types of IP Ratings
IP stands for Ingress Protection and is formed with two numbers: The first digit shows the level of protection against solid objects and the second digit shows the level of protection against liquids.
Example: IP54 = Sufficient protection from entry of dust that could interfere with equipment & Protected against water spraying at any angle.
