Kit Overview
The FRE-205 is a horizontal levelling laser which has been designed specifically for exterior Groundworks. It is constructed with a rugged housing and has an automatic drift system (bump sensor), together with the facility to Dual Grade; making this the laser of choice for Groundworks Contractors.
Included Fukuda FRE-205 DUO kit is an EK-112R Cross line laser to cover most indoor work. Its auto levelling has very bright red beams & is supplied with an "L" shaped, magnetic mounting bracket (for wall mounting etc). This combination has proved to be very popular even for Groundworkers who have found the Crossline laser useful for other indoor tasks.
Rotary Laser Level:
The FRE-205 auto levels horizontally; is accurate to +/-3mm over 30m and has a 500 metre range, using the supplied laser detector.
For site Groundworks use, the laser has a dual grade facility too. Switch off the auto levelling by pressing the Manual button on the remote control. This enables the User to accurately and easily set slopes (grades) in both X and Y axis, as required.
The FRE-205 kit also includes a remote control - to enable you to adjust the rotating speed (for indoor work) and outdoors - to set Grades (slopes), as described above. A very useful feature, which allows control from a distance without the laser level being disturbed.
Note: Outdoors, we recommend setting the rotating speed to maximum (600rpm) to give the best operating distance & stability, when using the detector. For User convenience, the FRE-205 can operate on either the 4pc x 'AA' Ni-MH rechargeable batteries (supplied) or 4pc standard 'AA' alkaline batteries.
Laser Detector (mm/inch)
The FRD800R Laser Detector is a highly versatile, well-featured laser receiver for both basic and advanced levelling and aligning applications; designed for general, concrete and site preparation contractors.
It features a digital readout of elevation that provides a numeric display of +/-45mm to 1mm resolution. Accurate measurements can be made without moving the rod clamp, saving time and increasing productivity. The readout is displayed on the large front and rear LCD's, showing exactly how far the elevation is from on-grade. A back-light assists readings in low ambient lighting.
Selectable units of measurement can be displayed to meet your specific application: in mm, cm or inches. A 125mm long red pick-up window, more than double the industry standard, allows quick acquisition of the laser beam. Readings are shown in three ways: via back and front LCD, coloured LED indication and by audible sound, selectable loud/normal/off.
This detector is designed to survive tough construction site conditions, being water and dustproof to IP55.
It can be used as either a hand-held or staff mounted detector for a wide range of construction applications.
Cross Line Laser:
The EK-112R auto levels quickly & accurately; giving a fine, very bright, red laser cross - ideal for both horizontal & vertical setting-out. Both beams can be switched On & Off independently.
A transit latch protects the mechanism (to avoid transportation damage) and the case is surrounded by a black rubber cover for worksite protection.
It comes with a very handy multi-function magnetic "L" shaped bracket which acts as an All-in-One system: a wall mounting Bracket & a 5/8" tripod Adapter. This gives the User the choice of mounting the laser onto a tripod or a Floor to Ceiling Pole with either 1/4" or 5/8" threads. (Please see our Accessories section for various Pole Kits.)
This "2 in 1" DUO package covers both indoor & outdoor groundworks applications, for the General builder.

When you have finished with the Laser Level kit, or the rental period is nearing the end, please follow the steps below.

DPD are only able to collect Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. Collections are not possible on Saturday or Sunday or on Public Holidays.
Prepare the Hired products for Return
For Hired Laser Levels, ensure all of the Laser Level Kit contents are placed back in the carry case. A list of the original Kit contents is shown in the kit contents laminated sheet.
For Hired Laser Detectors or Accessories, ensure all items are placed back in the box. A list of the original contents is shown in the kit contents laminated sheet.
Missing items will be subject to charges.
All hired items must be returned in the original outer cardboard boxes ready to be returned.
DPD Collection
DPD will email & text you a 1-Hour collection window on the day of collection.
Prior to Collection, please affix the DPD Return Labels (which can be found inside the cardboard box) to the outside of the box or boxes.
Please ensure there is access to the property (gates are not closed etc...)
The drivers are usually very quick, so please keep a lookout for the driver during this time so that the collection is not missed.
When the driver arrives hand the box or boxes over for inspection. You or someone else must be present to hand over the boxes.
The Kit will then be returned back to us.
